Mrs. Tudino is not only a phenomenal teacher, but also has an innate ability to connect with her students. Through her humor, patience, and kindness, she goes above and beyond to get to know each child and make them feel heard, valued, and cared for. This is especially invaluable when a student is struggling. Mrs. Tudino meets her students where they are and provides the support and encouragement they need to grow. That approach was incredibly motivating for my daughter. She knew Mrs. Tudino believed in her and wanted her to succeed, which made all the difference. Mrs. Tudino also maintained open and transparent communication with me throughout the time my daughter was in her class. As a parent, that level of partnership and trust was invaluable. She has an incredible gift for differentiating instruction, making learning engaging and fun, while still holding students accountable and building their confidence. Alyssa is also incredibly intuitive. She's like a detective and if something isn't working or a child shows signs of frustration or distress, she doesn't accept the status quo. She digs deeper, asks questions, and works tirelessly to find the root of the issue and the right solution for that individual child. Although her expertise is with middle school students, her skills extend far beyond that. She also worked with our older son, helping him strengthen his reading and writing skills and guiding him through the college essay process with the same level of care. Also, I have seen her work with children as young as the preschool level and she has an extraordinary gift for connecting with children of all ages. Alyssa’s knowledge of special education and her ability to collaborate with families is truly exceptional. She can review IEPs, suggest meaningful accommodations and modifications, and offer practical solutions tailored to a child’s needs. We will always be grateful for the impact Alyssa has had on our family and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for an educator who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping children reach their full potential.
