Hi! I'm Alyssa, a certified teacher with 7 years of experience in special education across both elementary and middle school settings—and a genuine love for helping students and families feel confident and supported.

I've had the opportunity to work with students with a wide range of learning needs, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is helping them build skills, confidence, and independence in a way that feels achievable and encouraging. I also really value working closely with families, supporting them in understanding and navigating their child's educational journey—both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to my classroom experience, I've provided individualized tutoring for students of all ages, which has allowed me to meet learners where they are and tailor instruction to fit their unique strengths and pace.

I also have a lot of experience supporting students through important transitions—like moving from elementary to middle school and middle to high school—and I love helping students feel more prepared, organized, and confident during those big changes.

Through my work in schools, I've seen just how powerful it is when families and educators are truly working together. That's what inspired me to create Tudino Learning—so I can support not just students, but families as they navigate and feel confident in their child's learning experience every step of the way.

The approach

A Calm, Patient,
Student-Led Plan.

01
Diagnose

We start with a free 30-minute consult to figure out what's actually getting in the way — missing concept, anxiety, habits.

02
Build

Each plan is built around the student in front of me, not a curriculum I bought off a shelf.

03
Sustain

We track progress weekly, share notes with parents, and adjust as life and grades shift.

Kind words

From Students
and Their Parents.

Mrs. Tudino is not only a phenomenal teacher, but also has an innate ability to connect with her students. Through her humor, patience, and kindness, she goes above and beyond to get to know each child and make them feel heard, valued, and cared for. This is especially invaluable when a student is struggling. Mrs. Tudino meets her students where they are and provides the support and encouragement they need to grow. That approach was incredibly motivating for my daughter. She knew Mrs. Tudino believed in her and wanted her to succeed, which made all the difference. Mrs. Tudino also maintained open and transparent communication with me throughout the time my daughter was in her class. As a parent, that level of partnership and trust was invaluable. I always felt informed, included, and confident that my daughter was receiving the support she needed both academically and emotionally. Mrs. Tudino has made a lasting impact on our family, and we are so grateful for the care, dedication, and commitment she brings to her students every day. We all love Mrs. Tudino!

If you're looking for a tutor who truly understands how to help children succeed, I cannot recommend Alyssa highly enough. Alyssa came into our son's life when he transitioned to sixth grade with an IEP. She didn't just see his academic challenges, but she took the time to understand who he was as a person and learner. She recognized that supporting his emotional needs was just as important as supporting his educational ones, and that made all the difference. Her compassion, patience, and dedication quite literally changed the trajectory of our son's life. What sets Alyssa apart is her ability to meet every child exactly where they are while encouraging them to grow. She has an incredible gift for differentiating instruction, making learning engaging and fun, while still holding students accountable and building their confidence. Alyssa is also incredibly intuitive. She's like a detective and if something isn't working or a child shows signs of frustration or distress, she doesn't accept the status quo. She digs deeper, asks questions, and works tirelessly to find the root of the issue and the right solution for that individual child. Although her expertise is with middle school students, her skills extend far beyond that. She also worked with our older son, helping him strengthen his reading and writing skills and guiding him through the college essay process with the same level of care. Also, I have seen her work with children as young as the preschool level and she has an extraordinary gift for connecting with children of all ages. Alyssa’s knowledge of special education and her ability to collaborate with families is truly exceptional. She can review IEPs, suggest meaningful accommodations and modifications, and offer practical solutions tailored to a child’s needs. We will always be grateful for the impact Alyssa has had on our family and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for an educator who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping children reach their full potential.
